West South Street Sidewalk

Kennett Township’s trails consultants, led by Biohabitats, completed preliminary engineering for the West South Street sidewalk in March 2021. The sidewalk will connect Kennett Borough sidewalks to the Greenway, Pennock Park and the Parrish Trail. It includes three crosswalks at South Mill Champs, Chandler Mill Road and Pennock Park. Bicyclists will also benefit from sharrows and traffic calming along West South Street. Kennett Township and New Garden Township have also begun preliminary planning to complete a trail between Pennock Park and New Garden Shopping Center.
